Willow is a kind, loving, goofball of a dog. Almost 7 years old, Willow loves to eat the occasional ice cube when she hears you getting into the freezer, and she still can't catch a ball or a treat in her mouth to save her life (though we love her for trying.) Willow lost her back leg two years ago while chasing a squirrel....but, ever the optimist, Willow still tries to catch squirrels on her three remaining legs.
Because she has some behavior issues including fear aggression, Willow isn't a good dog for kids younger than 13. Her perfect home would be with someone who's an experienced dog owner, and she also needs someone who will take the time to work with a professional like a behaviorist. A fenced-in yard is a must, or a farm setting where she can roam without interacting with strangers.
Willow loves going on short walks, curling up next to your bed, or snuggling on the couch. Wherever you are in the house, that's where she wants to be (always ready to give you kisses.) Willow has been a sweet, loving dog to us in the last six years, and even though our home is no longer the best environment for her anymore, we hope that someone special will give our girl the attention and care she deserves.
